![]() ![]() Boyfriend material was amazing as a standalone. ![]() Luc was always annoying, and Oliver had always been the way he was, and they did nothing out of character in this book either. Anyway, I think except for the ending I liked everything about it. But I loved it? It might be because I took my time with it so maybe I forgot the first half. And I’d recommend it if you loved Boyfriend Material.Ĭame here right after finishing this book and I think I might be odd one out. ![]() An epilogue really could have helped here.īut still, I enjoyed this. It wraps up completely, sure, but it’s also incredibly sudden. It felt to me that the primary conflict, resolution, and end of the book all happened in three pages, and it left me feeling unsettled and a little bewildered. But I can’t help feeling that the end was too abrupt, and we needed something to feel complete. I laughed a lot, and it was a joy to be back with Oliver and Luc and their friends and Luc’s mom. I thought this was going to be a five star book for me. This book is about how their relationship has matured as they handle challenges. That doesn’t mean everything is easy all the time, though. This was such a nice look at Luc and Oliver’s relationship. ![]() Boyfriend Material was one of the first modern romance books I’d ever loved, and I was so excited to get my hands on its sequel. ![]()
